March Break Upon Us!!!

As we wind down for March Break I just wanted to take a moment to wish the staff, our students and their families and/or caregivers the WARMEST wishes for a restful March Break!  Its certainly been a cold lead up, and our indoor recesses have been sure to create some cabin fever!  I wish you all a restful break.  We will return to school on March 18th for our final stretch of the school year.

During this transition time we will see a number of staffing changes which I would like to share.  Our EA team will see a number of changes as a few staff pursue new opportunities in new assignments.  We are very grateful to them for the service they have provided Westview students over the years and wish Ms. Castellani, Ms. Prendergast and Ms. Galbraith all the best in their new schools!  We are fortunate to be able to extend offers to EAs currently serving our Westview students- please join me in welcoming Ms. Walters to full days, Ms. Smith to full time, and Ms. Laslo confirmed til the end of the year.  The continuity of support to our students is great news for all!  Additionally, we wish Ms. Cantwell all the best as she leaves to deliver her bundle of joy, and welcome Ms. Zalter who will fill the role til the end of the year.  We also welcome back Ms. Falcone in the Learning Commons.   Lastly, we welcome a number of new student teachers to our team, under the mentorship of our amazing teachers, so you may hear of some new staff delivering programs to your child.  If you have any questions regarding a staffing change that impacts your child please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher or the office.
