Parking and Winter Road Safety

Now that the winter snow and ice are upon us, we’d like to remind parents and visitors to Westview that there is no parking in the driveway entrance or up the hill into the parking lot. 

Although it is cleared and salted as soon as possible, the hill can get slippery quickly and there needs to be clear access both up and down, leaving no room for parked vehicles.  This helps ensure your child’s safety and well being upon leaving the school.

If you are driving to pick up your children, it is advised that you park and wait in your vehicle on Rolston Drive, being mindful to not park in the bus loading area at the bottom of the stairs.
