In an effort to monitor student presence at school over the lunch hour, we are asking for your support in letting us know when your child will be staying at school or going home for lunch.

 

Students staying for lunch are expected to:

  • Bring lunch with them everyday. Parents are asked not to send glass containers in lunches. Peanuts and peanut products are not to be part of our lunches in an effort to keep our school "Nut Safe" school.
  • Bring a note from parent if they wish to be excused from the lunchroom on a certain day. The note must be initialled by the teacher/advisor in the morning.
  • Follow the routines and basic expectations of respect for others.
  • Show respect for the supervisor and the other students in the lunchroom.
  • Clean up after eating and leave no mess behind.
  • Remain on the playground during lunch recess.

Students going home for lunch are expected to:

  • Go directly to and from home. Student safety is at risk when visiting local stores/parks unsupervised.
  • Return to the school between 12:25 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. (entry is at 12:45 p.m.)

A form must be complete for each child in grade 1 through grade 8.
