Co-branding

Carrying HWDSB’s logo and/or wordmark promotes its network of schools and provides an opportunity to demonstrate unity. Schools are asked to use the logo on their products and they do not require prior approval from HWDSB. However, schools are asked to consult should they want to use HWDSB’s identifiers on products produced by outside organizations.

A wordmark is a brand identifier in the form of a phrase that creates awareness and adds credibility by supporting the logo. It is an essential element in co-branding that links the school’s logo to HWDSB’s team. This link further solidifies the mutual advantages derived from cross-marketing and co-branding.
