Water Testing for Lead – Follow Up Letter

Dear Parents, Guardians and Caregivers

As you are aware, our school recently underwent water testing for lead, in accordance with the provincial regulations (O.Reg 243/07). A letter was sent home on Wednesday saying there was a potential concern identified within the school and a drinking water fountain was being removed from service until the second test sample was received.

We have received our second test sample and the results confirm that there is a problem with the drinking water fountain. The fountain will remain out of service until it can be replaced.
