One of the most important features of the new literacy focus is creating a book room for your school. To help with this the Literacy Improvement Project Bookroom Teams have developed a number of resources for your bookroom. Below you will find a number of reproducible files that will help you to organize your new literacy resources. Check out the new Recommended Read Aloud information, the Write Trait and Comprehension Strategy labels as well as a section on automating your bookroom.

Database Files - Filemaker Pro Information and Instructions

**This Filemaker Pro Database will need to be saved on your computer and use with Filemaker Pro 5.5** Database programs save automatically when you exit, but it is always a good idea to save a “back-up” copy.

This Database has been created by pooling read alouds from bookrooms throughout the system. The grade designations and strategies have been generated by the Literacy Improvement Project Team and schools staffs. All designations and strategies have been included so that you may choose what fits best for your school.
