Summer 2018 Non-Credit Programs

Community and Continuing Education is pleased to offer a variety of summer programs for students in grades 6 to 10.  Please take a few minutes to look at the program pages to see what your child might be interested in participating in!

Description and Eligibility

 

Basketball and Literacy banner - link to Basketball and Literacy program page An exciting learning experience for students in grades 6-10 who enjoy basketball and would benefit from support in Literacy or Numeracy.  Offered multiple weeks at sites around Hamilton.
Floorball & Literacy program banner - link to Floorball and Literacy summer program page Learn how to play floorball while getting Literacy support.  This program is held at Sherwood Secondary School and students can enroll in either just one, or both weeks of the program. For students currently in Grades 6 to 10.
Soccer and Literacy banner - link to Soccer and Literacy summer program page Learn how to play soccer while getting Literacy support.  This program is held at Janet Lee School. For students currently in Grades 6 to 10.
Volleyball and Numeracy banner - link to Volleyball and Numeracy summer program page. Learn how to play volleyball while getting Numeracy support.  This program is held at Sherwood Secondary School. For students currently in Grades 6 to 10.
Leaders in Action and Literacy banner - link to Leaders in Action summer program page Work with the Rotary Summer Camp program to develop your Leadership and Literacy skills and earn volunteer hours required to graduate.  For students currently in Grades 7 to 10.
Young teen girl in a class smiling Summer Fractions Camp Program.  This one-week skill focused programs will help students currently in Grade 6 to 8 to build or maintain their math skills.  Program is offered at Ancaster Meadow Elementary School.
