Please note these scheduled conferences have been allotted to last ten (10) to fifteen (15) minutes; if additional time is required please make a separate request for this meeting.
Costume Parade on Tuesday, October 31st
Calling all ghosts and goblins! The costume parade is just around the corner and everyone is excited…especially the little trick or treaters. The parade will begin at 9:15 a.m. and be held in the gym. If students participate in the parade, we ask they come in costume and ready to go so that we can begin the parade shortly after entry. In addition, please NO masks, NO weapons of any kind, nothing gory, and school appropriate attire! And please keep things simple so that costumes can be “self applied” as students will have to put costumes on by themselves (and without assistance from parents). It is an exciting, and much anticipated day for the kids, so let’s all have a safe and fun day!!!
Book Fair (October 31st to November 3rd)
Our book fair will be here on Tuesday, October 31st until Friday, November 3rd. Get a head start on your holiday wish list while also supporting our library. All classes will have a chance to visit the Book Fair. Parents are welcome to come shop on Thursday between 2:35 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., and Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. during Parent Teacher Interviews. See you there!
This month we will be kicking off the MacMillan’s Fundraiser. It is the perfect solution for your busy days and nights leading up to the holidays. Your family, neighbours, and friends will love stress-free baking, appetizers, and other delicious treats. The sale starts November 8th.
Terry Fox Donation
Our final total for the Sir Isaac Brock Terry Fox Run was $213.80. Thank you to everyone for your contribution! Every little bit counts!
FINAL NOTICE! EPI-Pens and Inhalers
Your child’s health is extremely important to us. We need your help! If you are a parent of a child who uses either an EPI-Pen and/or an inhaler, it is necessary that we have a spare also at the office. An envelope was sent home with your child requesting additional medical forms to be signed by you and your child’s physician. A second request was sent home last week. It is imperative that you complete the forms, sign it, have the doctor sign it, and return it to the office. In addition, we ask that you please send or drop off a spare EPI-Pen and/or puffer as soon as possible. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated as the health and safety of your child is imperative.
LAST CALL! September (Coloured) Forms
Last month, packages were sent home within the first day or two of school. It is important that you return the completed forms to the teacher so that we can update our files, note any medical issues / concerns, and ensure the proper permission forms are signed so that your child does not miss out on any upcoming trips. Please ensure you send the completed forms back to the teacher as soon as possible if you haven’t already done so. (Please note that all forms that need to be returned to the school are IN COLOUR to make it easier for you.) Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Have an amazing week!
