In the news at Rousseau

All families are encouraged to join us on Wednesday February 28 for Family Math Night. Math instruction continues to evolve to meet the needs of all of our students. We are excited to see the activities that students will be leading to demonstrate their learning. Families will see how these activities reflect Rousseau’s approach to math learning and also how activities can be done at home to support the learning that is happening at school. We hope you can join us from 5:30 – 6:30 on February 28.

As part of our activities for Day of Pink, on Wednesday April 11, Officer Melissa Drozd from Hamilton Police Services will be speaking to Gr. 4-6 students about internet safety and “how to be kind on-line”.

The Resources page of our school website has been updated. Families interested in improving keyboard skills might be interested in https://www.atrtonline.com/new_index.php. Families can access support for students interested in improving their French skills. Please see Voila for more information.

It’s Ball Hockey season at Rousseau! Ball Hockey will start for Grades 1-6 next week. Look for schedules to be posted online. Students will be informed of their team early next week.
