Our School

Ray Lewis Elementary School opened its doors to our community on February 23, 2005 and we celebrated our grand opening on May 13, 2005. We are preparing our students to “Pursue The Dream”. We are situated on the central mountain area on the southern most end of Upper Wentworth Street. We are a diversely rich community where all students belong and we are committed to continuous improvement. The Staff at Ray Lewis Elementary School are skilled & talented professionals that take great pride in each student’s progress.

They work together in Professional Learning Teams to provide the most effective instructional strategies for our students. They are always trying innovative ways to support student learning. We educate over 650 students in Junior Kindergarten through to grade 8. The Four Core Values that govern our actions and decisions in ensuring the effectiveness of our mission and the realization of our vision: Respect, Leadership, Excellence & Shared Learning. We provide a variety of extra-curricular opportunities to explore areas of interest including sports, music, fitness, dance, literacy, clubs, and activities.
