October Updates

Our first month of school is already in the books and what a busy month it has been.  Some of our highlights include:

Terry Fox Fundraiser:  The whole school participated in the Walk/Run and we gatherered “Toonies for Terry”, collecting over $900 to the Terry Fox Foundation.

Pajamas and Pancakes:  Our Student Council organized a fun-filled spirit day where all students were invited to wear their pjs on Friday and a pancake lunch was served to all who donated to Pediatric Cancer Research.  Again, we raised over $900 that went to POGO (Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario).

Picture Day:  Edge Imaging will be the school provider for school photos for the next several years.  Register for reminders of upcoming picture days/orders, etc.  Visit Edge Online to sign up for reminders!

Meet the Teacher:  Our Meet the Teacher event is set for Thursday, October 12 from 5:00-6:30 pm.  This is an opportunity to connect with your child’s teacher(s), see the classroom and see what learning has been taking place so far this year (Note:  No Food Trucks or food will be sold this year)

Milk and Pizza:  Milk and Pizza sales have now begun!  Forms for November milk and pizza will be coming home soon and will be due October 26th.

SchoolCash Online:  We are continuing to expand what we offer on SchoolCash as many parents prefer this safe and convenient way to purchase items.  See here for more information on how to sign up!
