With Great Sadness

Dear Parents, Guardians and Community Members:

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of one of our parents, Mrs. Jennifer Munro. Mrs. Munro was the mother of two Queen Victoria students. The loss of a parent and community member is always difficult. It seems even more difficult when the loss is sudden and unexpected. Mrs. Munro will be missed by many in her family and amongst her friends. For further information, please go to:

Students may be affected by this news in various ways. Please be aware of this if or when you talk with your child about the situation. At times, even children with no connection to the two children of Mrs. Munro can have a reaction. Please let your child’s teacher know should you have any concerns.
