Athletics - Swim Team

Background
Parkside’s swim team is a co-ed sport. Our season runs from mid-October to March. The swim team program is open to all grade levels with most events split into Junior and Senior divisions. The team generally competes in five or more swim meets throughout the season culminating with the SOSSA swim championships in February and the provincial OFSAA swim championships in March.

Practices
The swim team’s primary practice pool is the Dundas Community Pool on Market Street. Some practices are also held at Dalewood and Ryerson Recreation Centres. There are more than 20 practices throughout the season. Swimmers are also encouraged to purchase a Hamilton Recreation Swim card to allow them opportunities for additional swim times.
