Parent participation can assist in developing a sense of community within the school. Get involved in your child’s education by attending Board meetings and voicing your concerns and opinions. The following meetings are open to the public.
Location
All public meetings of the Board are held in the boardroom at the Hamilton-Wentworth Education Centre. The Education Centre is located at 100 Main Street West, on the corner of Main and Bay Streets. Free parking is available at the rear of the building, off Bay Street.

Regular Meetings of the Trustees – The third Monday of each month at 6:30pm
Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) – The last Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm
SEAC makes recommendations to the Board regarding matters related to the establishment, development and delivery of special education programs and services. Membership is comprised of two trustees, Board staff and representatives from local associations and community organizations. Please note: There aren’t any scheduled meetings during the months of July and August unless a special issue should arise. Holidays and mid-winter break may necessitate changes to the above schedule.
