Parent Assistant

What is Parent Assistant?

Parent Assistant is a module of our student information system (called eSIS). It allows parents to log in through a website and view information about their child such as attendance history, grade history, diploma requirements and option sheets.

In the 2008-2009 school year, this system was piloted at Waterdown District High School and Ancaster High School. If you are a parent of a student at either Ancaster High School or Waterdown District High School, you should have received a user ID and password along with an information brochure. If you didn’t, please contact the school to make arrangements to receive your account information. Each parent will need to present photo identification in order to receive their account user ID and password.

All other schools throughout the secondary system will begin to implement Parent Assistant this year. Many schools will be distributing user IDs and passwords to parents on Parent-Teacher interview nights in the month of October. Please check with your child's school for dates and times.

Parents/Guardians of Students who are 18 years of age or older:

When your child turns 18, the school automatically removes them from your Parent Assistant account as is required by law. To have them re-added to your account, please submit the following form to your school. You can type the information directly into the form, print it off and have it signed by your son or daughter.
