Norwood Park’s 2017-2018 Direct Donation Fundraising Campaign

Dear Norwood Park Parents/Guardians,

We are pleased to introduce our Direct Donation Fundraising Campaign for the 2017-2018 school year! This is a new approach to fundraising, which directly benefits our school and students.

What is a Direct Donation Fundraising Campaign?

Direct Donation Fundraising Campaigns means that there is no need for having to haul boxes of chocolate bars around, no need to take responsibility for collecting and balancing money from your family and coworkers, and no need to collect and then distribute orders of plants or other goods every few months.  In other fundraising activities, as little as 30% of your donation goes to the school. With Direct Donation, every dollar you donate goes directly to Norwood Park.

Our goal is to raise $10,000. That means if we were to receive a $20 donation for each student, we would achieve this, and we will be issuing charitable donation receipts for every donation over $20.

While $20 per student is our goal, any amount contributed would be greatly appreciated.

Supporting Learning Through Technology

The funds raised through this campaign will be used to enrich our school by supporting learning through technology. We will continue to focus on our three year plan by purchasing media carts with projectors, Apple TVs, whiteboards, speakers and iPads for our classrooms as well as subsidizing student needs such as trips and awards. Making technology accessible to our students enhances their learning experience and provides them with resources that will assist them in developing life-long skills.

Please return the form below with your donation, or submit your donation through School Cash Online by Friday November 24th, 2017. Each dollar goes directly to benefit our students, so every contribution is greatly appreciated.

We will keep you up-to-date on the outcome of our campaign so you will see how your contributions are making a difference. Join us at our next Norwood Park School Council meeting on Tuesday November 21st at 6:30 p.m. in the Music room to hear an initial update regarding the Direct Donation Campaign.
