Secure School Protocol

Attention Mount Hope families:

As part of our Board’s Secure Schools Protocol every school is required to practice a set of emergency drills throughout the year. Students will be directed by teachers during the drills to ensure safety for everyone. Our Community Officer will also be present during some of the drills to lend a hand.

Parents and guardians can help support these drills by: – reinforcing with their children the importance to follow directions of teachers during an event

– disclose any information they may have regarding an event

– keeping their child’s contact information up to date

Also,  a reminder that cell phone communication should not occur during an event.
