The results of the Mary Hopkins Plastic Bag Grab Challenge are in!! Together we collected 1608 plastic shopping bags! These bags will be properly recycled with the assistance of our local Walmart store. Thank you for helping to ensure that our community remains free from plastic pollution.

As part of the challenge, schools were encouraged to submit a creative photo using the bags…..Ms. Phillips’ Grade 2 class decided to dress up as Earth Warriors, protectors of the planet who collect plastic wherever they go. Great work, Grade 2s!
