TIMETABLES

Our Guidance Counsellors will be available Monday, August 28, Tuesday, August 29 and Thursday, August 31, 2017 (a.m. only) to address timetable related issues. If your timetable is missing a class, has a SEEGUID code, or you have successfully completed a Summer School course (which is still listed on your new timetable and therefore needs to be changed), then you should come in Monday, Tuesday or Thursday as noted above. All other timetable issues will be addressed starting on the first official day of classes in priority sequence.

ADMINISTRATION ASSEMBLIES

Instead of Grade assemblies, administration and guidance counsellors will visit your classroom during the first weeks to officially welcome you, to set expectations for the semester, and to review important rules and guidelines.

Note: Initiation rituals of any kind are strictly prohibited at Sir Allan MacNab. Strong action will be taken against any student found to be involved in this type of activity.

CAFETERIA SERVICES

Lunches are to be eaten in the cafeteria. If you wish to purchase food, the cafeteria provides drinks, snacks and complete lunches. Student access to the building during lunch is limited to the main quad (the first floor around the Library/main office corridors), as classes are in session.

CURRENT HEALTH AND EMERGENCY INFORMATION

Please be sure and let the office know of any health problems or special needs of which we should be aware. We also need to be kept informed of changes in address, telephone numbers (home, work and cell), emergency contact information, etc. A “Student Information Verification Form” will be distributed during the first week of school. Please review, makes changes and return to your home room teacher.

LOCKERS

Each student will be assigned a locker by his or her homeroom teacher. This locker will be the student’s locker for the 2017-2018 school year. Students are required to have a school lock for this locker; they can be purchased from the main office for a cost of $5.00. Please be reminded that lockers are the property of the school, and they may be opened by school administration without prior notification.
