Grade 8 Chocolate Sales!
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As you know, a school trip has been arranged for our Grade 8 students this spring (May 30-June 1). We are allowing all of those students who are going on the trip the opportunity to raise funds to offset the cost. Our first fundraiser will be a with World’s Finest Chocolate.
Students will be selling a variety pack of nut-free chocolates that come in assorted boxes of 30.
Each item sells for $3.00. The entire box of 30 items sells for $90.00. Students earn a profit of $42.50 for every box they sell ($1.41 profit/item).
When students sell a box and return $90 to the school, they may take another box to sell.
Our sale will run from January 17th through February 7th.
Students are asked to send in money as soon as a box is sold, and to return any unsold chocolate to the school as soon as they are finished selling.
This is a terrific opportunity to pay for part or all, of your trip. Good Luck, and remember to sell safely!
Parents, you can help by taking a box to work. You will be amazed how quickly they will sell!
Chocolate bars may be collected by parents at the information night, January 17th.
Chocolate bars may be sent home January 18th with students who have returned the permission slip.
Additional Bonus: each complete box sold qualifies the seller for a chance to win our World’s Finest Chocolate representative’s regional draw prize – a weekend family getaway to the Great Wolf Lodge, seasons passes for 4 to Canada’s Wonderland, or an Apple iPAD – winner’s choice!
