Lincoln M. Alexander Public School

Lincoln M. Alexander School is a very comfortable JK to Grade 6 school situated in a well-established community on the Hamilton mountain, South of the Lincoln Alexander Parkway and East of Upper Gage Ave. The School was opened in 1990 and named after the Honorable Lincoln M. Alexander (affectionately known as Linc), who was present for the opening ceremony.

The school is built in a large square shape with the gym/stage in the center of the building and classrooms around the exterior.
The school has an attached Daycare established at the West end wing, which services both before and after as well as during the school day programs for our community.

The school focuses on early intervention programs and  early enhancement opportunities for our youngest students. JK SK programs focus on Language Development and Reading Readiness through the KLIC and Jolly Phonics programs.

Our students partake in Active Recess, Reading Clubs, Choir, Intra Mural Sports, Flexx Sports, Madd Science and a yearly Musical.

Our Character Development Program Leadership, Independence, Niceness, Co-operation pervades the daily lives of our School Citizens, and is celebrated at a monthly assembly. Lincoln Alexander School is a great school in which to teach and learn.
