Hi All,

Halloween Fun

On Tuesday October 31st, your child may wear his/her costume to school for the day.  We ask that ALL weapons be lefts at home.  If his/her costume requires a mask, we will allow the mask to be worn for the parade portion of the day only.  Should the mask become a problem or if the nature of the mask is upsetting to fellow pupils, we may nee to ask your child to wear the mask on top of their head or remove it altogether.  Please explain this possible outcome to your child to avoid disappointment on the day.

Students from grades JK – 3 will be celebrating Halloween by showing their costumes in our annual Costume Parade.  The parade will begin inside the school at 1:45 p.m. as students lead around to the various classrooms, across the playground and finally through the gym.  Parents are invited to watch the parade on the playground at 1:45 p.m.  If it happens to rain, parents will be asked to enter the building through the front doors, and view the parade lining the walls in the main hallways.  Primary classes will be having classroom parties following the parade.
