School Council Meeting

Yesterday, Thursday, I had a wonderful time meeting our School Council.  Everyone made me feel welcomed and there were treats too!!!  School Council meetings are a place where parents can have their voice heard, connect with other parents in the community and shape the school for their children.  Consider coming out to the next meeting that will take place on Monday October 16 beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way to help out our community, school, and most importantly bring a smile to our students faces; oh yes and it also makes you feel good that you are giving back.  Here is where we need help in our school: Wednesday pizza days (beginning in October); Fall, Christmas and Spring fundraisers, driving students to extra curricular activities, and reading with grade 1 students.  Please come on in and chat with me.

Tree on the Playground

The ash tree on the playground will be cut down on the PA Day, Friday September 22, 2017.  If you want to take a picture before that date, please do so.  For the safety of all, please encourage your children not to be on school property on this day.

3-Pitch Baseball

This is taking place next week for our Junior and Senior students.  Please look at the calendar on our website to remind your children to come dressed appropriately.

Open House

You and your family will be able to see your child’s classroom and meet their teacher at our Open House on Thursday October 5, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
