Joni Mitchell is a singer and songwriter who writes Jazz and Pop music. Joni was raised in almost complete isolation and during her childhood she faced many diseases. She once found herself pregnant before she was married and while she was still in school. Several years later, she married a man called Chuck Mitchell, but three years later the marriage broke up. After this, Joni had no choice but to give her daughter up for adoption. In the mid-80's, she began to suffer from Postpolio Syndrome. In 1996, she released an album called Turbulent Indigo, which won her several Grammy awards. In 1997, she was entered into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. |
