Highview School – Temporary Crossing Guard Changes

Parents & Guardians,

We have been notified by the City of Hamilton and also by our Crossing Guard at Brucedale & Upper Ottawa (Ms. Dungey), of the following temporary change to crossing Upper Ottawa due to road construction that will be taking place. This change will begin on Monday, April 1st and could last up to 2 months.

During this time period, students will not be able to cross Upper Ottawa at Brucedale. Students will need to go along Upper Ottawa to Queensdale and cross with the Crossing Guard at that intersection.

If your child normally crosses at Upper Ottawa and Brucedale, please discuss this change with them or accompany your child to provide direction.
