Green Team Pick Your Own Day

The Highview Green Team has done amazing work planting and caring for the vegetables and herbs in our garden and we want to share what we have with Highview’s students, staff and Highview families!

Please join us to pick your own veggies and herbs to enjoy at home!

In the Garden/Outdoor Classroom Area

What is ready to pick and enjoy:

Kale (we have a kale chip recipe to share!) swiss chard, beans, jalapenos, onions and garlic, chives, sage, mint and even a cucumber or two! There are a few things we haven’t picked yet that we are saving for the green team to enjoy so please check with one of our members before picking. We will have a sign up sheet for anyone who would like seeds this coming spring to grow veggies at home as well.

The amount every family will be able to take home will depend on the number of people that join us for harvesting. We will have signs up explaining the plant and amount you can take to start with as we want to share with as many families as possible. Please bring your own bag to save on waste.
