An Interetesting Listen Regarding School Drop Off Zones
Hi all,
We have noticed another disturbing trend with drivers dropping kids off that almost ended with a student being hit by a car. The driver(s) have been stopping right at the entrance of our roundabout blocking the sidewalk, and sometimes the street as well. Instead of going through the roundabout or waiting, the drivers have been reversing back into traffic against the one way. In the one instance almost hitting a student walking on the sidewalk. Thankfully the student was watching her surroundings and was able to avoid it. This practice must stop immediately.
Heard this today, its long but worth a listen especially the last 2 mins or so.

This unfortunately comes on the heels of that tragic accident in Toronto where a little girl was pinned between two cars and later died from her injuries.
