Parental Warning – The “Choking game” – update

Hello Community,

It has come to our attention that our students have been engaged in a potentially lethal game.  They either choke themselves or others, and/or apply pressure to a person’s chest causing them to pass out.  It’s one that has made its rounds in previous years in other places.  Our information leads us to believe that this is occurring after hours in parks, including Erin Gate park in the back on the school.  Our older students have been talking about participating in this game using social media, specifically Snapchat as videos.   We have information that this game is being played during school hours, staff have been alerted to this danger.
