Decision
At a Board meeting April 30, 2012 Trustees ratified a motion for the Dalewood area elementary accommodation review. Find a video of that decision, the text of the motion below and the full report describing the recommendation.
(a) That Prince Philip close in June 2013 and that its students (and the existing programming) be relocated to G. R. Allan School, effective September 2013.
(b) That the Board approve the staff recommended upgrades as summarized in the report (Table #2).
Background
The Elementary ARC – Dalewood Review Area will establish a committee in February 2011 to review accommodation of students at the following schools:
- Dalewood
- G.R. Allan
- Prince Philip
Meetings marked Public Meeting represent the four public meetings intended to provide all community members with an opportunity to engage in open dialogue about the process and recommendations. All meetings are 6 to 9 p.m. unless indicated.
