Welcome to Eastdale Elementary’s About page

Eastdale Public School is located in Stoney Creek near Gray Rd. and Barton St. on a 4.5 acre lot. Currently the new school is adjacent to a park with a large playground that includes green space, a play structure and baseball diamond. The original Eastdale school was built in 1965 and the gym was added in 1979. In 2018 the old Eastdale school was torn down and construction began on a new, larger, modern building. In January 2020 the new Eastdale school opened, bringing together the students currently being housed at Mountain View and Green Acres.

Eastdale is on a Balanced School Day with three periods of 100 minutes of Instruction and two 40 minute Nutrition Breaks.

The breaks allow for better nutrition and active living through outdoor play. At Eastdale we believe that one of our primary tasks is to help our students to become good problem solvers, decision-makers and innovators while developing creativity, kindness and citizenship.    Eastdale School is a terrific place to spend your day!
