Welcome to Eastdale Elementary’s About page

Eastdale Public School is located in Stoney Creek near Gray Rd. and Barton St. on a 4.5 acre lot. The school has a large playground with two baseball diamonds and a basketball court. The school was built in 1965 and the gym was added in 1979. Eastdale is on a Balanced School Day with three periods of 100 minutes of Instruction and two 40 minute Nutrition Breaks.

The breaks allow for better nutrition and active living through outdoor play. At Eastdale we believe that one of our primary tasks is to help our students to become good decision-makers.  We support students through the use of our S.O.U.L. Model to teach students how to make well informed choices in social and academic settings. Prior to any decision students and staff ask themselves; Is it safe? Does it help with order? Does it create unity? Does it support learning?  If the answer was “NO” to any of these, we don’t do it.  Eastdale School is a terrific place to spend your day!
