Attention Grade 5 Families

Dear Grade 5 families,

The end is near! Next Tuesday, June 27, is the big day of the Farewell Assembly. To make sure it runs smoothly, we want to clarify a few points:

• The assembly begins at 9:15 sharp!
• Grade 5 students must come in at the usual time – 8:50. They should stay on the back playground as usual until the bell rings.
• Grade 5 parents and families are to enter by the front door. Thanks in advance for bringing snacks for the party – a volunteer will be there to organize your treats (nut free please!). You may enter and go to the gym before the bell.
• After the assembly, students will be dismissed from their classrooms – families are to go to the front lawn and wait for their graduates.
• The reception on the front lawn is for all Grade 5 students and families. After they have suitably energized themselves with sugar, the students will perform their flash mob dance, so do stick around for that!
