Raccoon on School Property

On Monday October 17th, 2016 a raccoon was spotted on the school grounds.  Animal Control at The City of Hamilton was contacted and responded by coming to the school in response to the sighting.

On Tuesday October 18th, 2016 in the morning the raccoon was captured and The City of Hamilton, Public Health Inspector Jane Murrell, came to the school asking if any students had been exposed to the raccoon (i.e. bitten, scratched or saliva contact).  We did an afternoon announcement asking any student who may have been exposed to come to the office.  We ask that you please contact Jane Murrell at 905-546-2424 x 5049 for next steps.
