NED Show

We were excited to host the NED show today – NED stands for Never Give Up, Encourage Others and Do Your Best.  The students enjoyed seeing Ian demonstrate lots of amazing yo-yo tricks.  A parent letter went home last week, but if you lost it, please see attached.

As a pay it forward initiative to support the NED organization, yo-yos and “yo-yo swag” will be on sale during second nutrition break each day next week (see sale information at the bottom of the parent letter).  One little parent hint:  students were told in the show that they shouldn’t be coming home saying “I want a yo-yo”, but were encouraged to say “How can I earn a yo-yo?”  I look forward to hearing that some students effectively followed this suggestion from Ian and NED!
