Friday is a Day at the Beach

January’s Spirit Day is Beach Day!  On Friday, January 12, students are invited to bring/wear some beach-inspired wear (sunglasses, sunhats, t-shirts, shorts) at school so we can all pretend to be having a summer’s day in the sun.  It is important to layer on your warm clothes as well so you will be comfortable going outside in our frosty January weather.

As part of the Spirit day, Mrs. Clarke’s Grade 2/3 class will be selling “Beach Treats” (sour keys) for 50 cents each in advance of second nutrition break.  All money raised from this fundraiser will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House charity.
