Emergency Evacuation Drill

As part of the HWDSB Lockdown, Hold and Secure, Shelter in Place Directive, we will be conducting a Bomb Threat Drill at Dundana School on Wednesday, June 14 at approximately 2:30 p.m.  The entire drill should take no more than 10 minutes.

A Bomb Threat drill is a new procedure for HWDSB staff and students, but looks quite similar to the procedures for Fire Drills, with which we are very familiar.  The drill will be indicated by an announcement stating that we need to evacuate.  Students and staff will then follow their regular drill procedure (proceed outside, wait with staff member until given the all clear signal to re-enter the school).

Please note that while conducting the drill, the school telephone and front door will not be accessible.
