Watch: Backpacks Empower Kids for Life
550 HWDSB students will be returning to school with a backpack full of essential school supplies. Hamilton volunteers filled the bags during the Start2Finish Annual Backpack Packing Event. Start2Finish founder Brian Warren reminded volunteers that the backpacks are filled with more than school supplies because each one is packed with love. Start2Finish aims to break the cycle of poverty by providing ongoing educational support to Canada's at risk children.
