Dalewood Library June Update |

All books were due back in the library June 11 and yet some are still "at large! Over the summer, please continue to look for books that may be under beds, in closets or tucked away on book shelves, and return them first thing in the September!

A very special thank you to our incredibly dedicated library helpers who gave up their lunch hour every Wednesday to ensure that our collection was in tip-top shape. They did an excellent job and their help was invaluable. These dedicated individuals are: Matthew Edwards (Gr. 8) Brenna Lawrason (Gr. 8) Rebecca Whitmore (Gr. 8) Sierra Robertson-Roper (Gr. 7) Hannah Scholtz (Gr. 7) We wish the Grade 8's all the best as they go off to high school in September! We hope to see our Grade 7's back in the fall, along with some new recruits! |

Watch for information on the Ontario Library Association's Forest of Reading Programs which we will run here at Dalewood again next year. Both the Red Maple program (for Grade 7's and 8's) and the Silver Birch program (for Grade 6's) will kick off early in Term 2. For more information check out the OLA's web site. |
