Terry Fox Day & Orange Shirt Day

Courage, determination, compassion, kindness and respect. These are just a few of the character traits shown by Terry Fox during his Marathon of Hope. Terry has set a great example for all Canadians to follow in his footsteps, to be the best Canadians we can be. Lets all be like Terry, today and everyday. Our Terry Fox run will be on Thursday, September 27th. We are asking all students to bring in a Toonie for Terry if possible, and to wear Red and White on that day to show our support.

On Friday, September 28th, we will be celebrating Orange Shirt Day by wearing orange shirts. The days leading up to this day will focus on listening, learning and celebrating Indigenous Culture and history, specifically to show our support that “Every Child Matters” in schools!
