Council
Welcome!
All parents are welcome to attend meetings of the council, which are usually held in the school library on the second Monday of each month. Summaries of the minutes of each meeting, and the agenda for the next meeting are included in the Bobcat News.
Purpose
To enrich the educational opportunities and the learning environment of the students at C.H. Bray SchoolMembers
The council consists of approximately 30 parents, the principal, a teaching and a non-teaching staff member, plus a member of the community.Projects
The council raises funds each year in order to finance special projects. Funds have been raised through special sales such as wrapping paper and school clothing, as well as through donations. Recent projects have included library resources, computer equipment, science aids, special presentations in the area of arts and music and class trips.Events
The council hosts a number of events each year, including a teacher appreciation lunch, graduation activities and the annual school picnic.Volunteers
Whether you have time each week or time to help with one committee, activity or project, your participation is important. Contact the school office to volunteer.

Minutes
C.H. Bray Annual Family Picnic
Please mark Thursday June 11th in your calendar for the Annual C.H. Bray Family Picnic. It runs from 5-7:30pm. Approximately 50 volunteers are needed to make this event a fun filled family evening. Please consider volunteering 30 minutes of your time that evening for games, ticket sales, set-up/clean-up etc. Volunteer forms will be sent home at the beginning of May.
If you signed up in September to be involved in planning this year’s picnic we will be in touch with you shortly. If you missed signing up then - it’s not too late! Get in touch with us!
