Fundraising Corner

MacMillans – Thank you to everyone who ordered items from the MacMillan’s flyer. We haven’t received as many orders as we did last year so we’ve extended the deadline to Tuesday, April 3rd. If you thought you were too late, you now have time to place your order! There are extra order forms at the office if needed. Don’t forget to mark the delivery date on your calendar. Pick up for your order will be on Tuesday, April 10th between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. Please remember, these are frozen products, so the earlier you pick them up, the better.

Staple’s Business Depot
We recently received our reward from Staples for our diligent collection and submission of used printer cartridges. We were very pleased to receive a gift card in the amount of $320.00 to be spent on anything at Staples. After a lively discussion, the card was passed to Mr. Siertsema, who will use it to purchase a much needed new digital camera for the school! Happy shopping Mr. Siertsema!! Thank you to all who participated. Keep sending in those empty cartridges!

When you shop here, the cashier will ask if you’re a member of “Grow for the Green”. Tell her yes and that the phone number is 333-3333. For every $400 credited to Central Park School, we receive a $20 voucher for store merchandise.

Staples Business Depot
Save your used ink/toner, printer and photocopier cartridges and send them into the school or if you prefer, you can drop them off directly at Staples in the “Recycle for Education Drop Box”. For each eligible cartridge that is received, Staples will give $1 to the Recycle for Education programme. We will receive an annual gift card based on the number of cartridges received. Staples cleans, refurbishes and refills these cartridges and re-sells them thereby saving them from going into landfill.
