Adult Day School
The Adult Day School program provides a structured and disciplined learning environment, using the OSS curriculum. Adult Credit courses are offered during the day only. All credit courses are 110 hours of study as per Ministry of Education guidelines.
We offer Adult Day School Programs at:
King William Learning Centre, 225 King William Street, 3rd Floor, Hamilton (downtown)
Hill Park Learning Centre, 465 East 16th Street, Hamilton (on the Mountain near Mohawk Road and Upper Wentworth)
Adult Day School Courses are offered in six week sessions on a full or part time basis. Students take one course in the morning (8:30 am-11:45 pm) and/or afternoon (12:15-3:30 pm). Classes are teacher facilitated. Workplace, College and University (at Hill Park only) level courses are available.
For many students, two to four sessions of Adult Day School (4 – 8 senior credits) will fulfill the requirements for an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Adults who require an additional credit to graduate, have the option to participate in our Independent Study Program.
