Cold Weather Alert

Thursday, January 29 @ 2:30 pm

The City of Hamilton issued a Cold Weather Alert , which is done when current or anticipated weather conditions are at or below -15 C or -20 C with wind chill. Learn more about cold weather alerts at HWDSB online here.

Parents must dress their children for cold weather. Parents are urged to consider the weather conditions when sending their children to school, especially students who wait at a bus stop or walk to school.

Cold alert takes affect the morning of Friday, January 30.

Canterbury Hills Trip Forms

Next week is an exciting week.  All students will attend a fun day of outdoor activity at Camp Canterbury Hills working with the talented staff from Adventureworks.  This is the beginning of a long relationship with Adventureworks.  We will be working with them over the course of the school year.

The trip forms will go home tonight.  They are due back on Friday. There are  many forms to complete.  We thank you in advance for taking the time to complete the accurately. Also,  if you are able to volunteer, please let your child’s advisor or Mrs. Simpson know as soon as possible.

This trip is heavily subsidized through Outdoor Education Funding.  Students will only need to pay $3.00 for a trip that is over $50.00.

Thanks in advance,

Mrs. Simpson
