Students and Families Invited to Pathways Information Night

Hundreds of students, parents and guardians are expected at LIUNA Station on Wednesday, October 24 as the sixth annual Pathways Information Night showcases the wide variety of great programs at Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB).

The HWDSB event – supported by the Industry-Education Council of Hamilton (IEC Hamilton) –  sees its doors open at 6:30 p.m. with families invited to drop in anytime until 9:00 p.m. Pathways Presentations will take place at 6:45, 7:30 and 8:15.

Pathways Information Night helps students in grades 7 to 12 find programs and opportunities that move them toward their goals. It features the many programs at HWDSB secondary schools and the many ways to learn, including self-directed, experiential, co-op programs and volunteer opportunities with our community partners.

Some of the programs and ways of learning on hand will include Specialist High Skills Majors, Experiential Learning, International Baccalaureate, Dual Credits, Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program, English as a Second Language, French Immersion, Special Education, and E-Learning.

For those interested in attending, please RSVP Angie van der Zalm at [email protected] or 905-529-4483 x224.

Childminding for children 18 months or older, bus tickets and interpreters are available upon request.
