HWDSB to Open Tiffany Hills School on January 9, 2017 to Address Ancaster Growth
Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) is excited to announce the opening on Monday, January 9, 2017 of the new Tiffany Hills Elementary School.
To respond to Ancaster’s population growth, Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) built a new Kindergarten to Grade 8 elementary school at 255 Raymond Road. Funding for the new school was provided by Ontario’s Ministry of Education.
“The opening of Tiffany Hills represents an important day for all of us,” said Wards 11 and 12 Trustee Alex Johnstone. “We appreciate the patience and understanding families have shown during planning and construction and we look forward to welcoming students and parents into their new community school.”
Johnstone said the opening of Tiffany Hills will address over-crowding in Ancaster Meadow, while also providing a modern and welcoming place to learn for its students. Bell times will be 9 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.

In addition to its opening, the school is planning to welcome all students and their families to an event that will show off the new building, said Tiffany Hills Principal Jane Gerritsen.
