New Beverly Central Construction Update

Monday, December 18, 2017

As you know, in June 2014, HWDSB Trustees approved the closure of Beverly Central and Dr. John Seaton and the construction of a new school on the Beverly Community Centre property, off Hwy. 8 in Rockton.

HWDSB is committed to this project and we anxiously awaiting provincial and municipal approvals. Once we have these approvals, we will hold a community meeting to update you on the project. Once construction begins, we expect it will take 12 – 16 months before we can move into the new school.

Please read the following Construction Update Letter for more information.

Watch: Just One Wish Kindness Awards
The third annual Just One Wish Kindness Awards were held on July 1, 2017 in Gage Park during the It's Your Festival celebrations for Canada's 150th birthday. Organizers honoured 151 children (150 for Canada's birthday and one for good luck), age 4 to 18, from across HWDSB for their kindness. These children exemplify what is means to be Canadian and what Canada is all about. Congratulations to all!
