Bennetto’s Keep the Beat event was a huge success! The day was filled with music, singing and dancing. Bennetto’s staff and students were so excited to meet our performers Turkey Rhubarb, Melissa Bel, Johnny Parante, 40 Sons and Daughters and Brian Melo! The performers were spectacular and the energy in the room was through the roof. Miss Shields’ class has compared the energy of the music marathon to the last 10 seconds of a tied basketball game. They were cheering, jumping, singing all day long! A lot of time and planning went into the event and it was successful because of the dedicated staff and students who helped Miss Shields and also because of the extremely generous companies that either contributed money or donated goods. Thank you to Fortinos, Food Basics, Roque Roofing, Voortmans, Costco, J-Core, Locke Street Bagle, Pan Del Sol, Zarkey’s, Bonanza Bakery, Maple Leaf, Harm Schilthuis and Sons and Peter at Gino’s on King and James. We couldn’t have done it with out you! Thank you to the students for donating to War Child and to the parents who came to support our event.
Bennetto raised $3000 for
War Child and we will be able to help re-build a school in Africa!
We are bringing education to Africa!
Way to go Bennetto!!
