School Water – November 29

As you may know, Balaclava is a well-water school.  As such our water is tested several times a day.  During the routine testing before students and teaching staff arrived this morning, the levels of chlorine were not within the appropriate range.  As such our caretaker placed signs near sinks and fountains were covered. During this time, students had access to bottled water.  Technicians were called in and the situation was corrected just before noon.  It was explained to students and staff that the situation was resolved and that the fountains were safe to use.
