HAMILTON (May 20, 2016) – The Westdale Warriors nailed down their second consecutive Hamilton public school board division-I girls soccer championship on Friday defeating Hamilton District Christian High with a decisive 5-1 win at Heritage Green Sports Park.

Alexis Kenyeres notched a hat-trick in the victory while Mara Balvers delivered the other two goals for the Warriors. Lindsay Bosveld responded with the lone goal for HDCH.

The win was Westdale’s third girls soccer title since the 2009-10 season and second consecutive defending their city championship won last year. Hamilton DCH will also advance to SOSSA as the ‘A’ representative while Sir Winston Churchill will be the ‘AA’ representative from Hamilton. Visit www.sossa.on.ca for more details.
