HOCKEY: Churchill battles Orchard Park prior to OHL game at First Ontario Centre

HAMILTON (November 27, 2015) – Sir Winston Churchill’s boys’ varsity hockey team are eagerly awaiting the start of the 2015 season as they will play their season opener at the First Ontario Centre on December 2 against Orchard Park secondary.

The game, held at 3pm, will be played prior to the Ontario Hockey League’s Hamilton Bulldogs regular season game scheduled against the Owen Sound Attack.  That game is set for a 7pm puck drop.

Following the boy’s game and just prior to the OHL game, the girls hockey team will play in an All-Star “style” game against Sir Winston Churchill teachers and staff.

Tickets for the event are just $15.00 and include entry into both events organized by the school as well as a lower bowl ticket to the Hamilton Bulldog’s game later that night (Normally a $20.00 value).

Proceeds from the event will go to Sir Winston Churchill boys and girls hockey hockey and the purchase of new uniforms.
