Mayor Eisenberg visits Ancaster Meadow!

On Monday, May 29th, Mayor Eisenberg and School Board Trustee, Alex Johnstone, visited Ancaster Meadow to recognize the great work of Mrs. Urfey’s Grade 3 class.  They spoke with the students about the impact of their work on helping us envision Hamilton in the future.  Students in Mrs. Urfey’s class have received accolades from around the province for their work in helping us understand the negative impacts of plastic water bottles on our environment.
The visit included a photo opportunity where our Mayor and Trustee posed with our entire student body as a drone video was taken that panned out from our group, went over our school and will be blended with a view of the City as a representation of the impact of their work in envisioning a new Hamilton in the future.  This video will be shared with the school community once it is edited and published at the end of June.
We are extremely proud of the work done by Mrs. Urfey, all of her students, and the Instructional Coach who assisted with the project, Mr. T.J. Rooth.  Well done, and thank you for representing our school so well!
Please see the attached pictures.

Mr. Clemens
